WS 42: 47: GTITNM field Is Blank in F00165 for EDI Order And Sales Orders Created In Configurator With Text, Text Is Not Visible in Attachment Manager

Symptoms

Scenario 1:

For release 9.1 and 9.2, when you are creating a text attachment for an Inbound 850 R47011 using the F4714 EDI table, the resulting text cannot be viewed when the sales order is created despite the F00165 Generic Text table being created with a record.

Scenario 2: For Sales Orders created in Configurator are not showing text in the Attachment Manager.

These are view by performing row exit from Customer Service Inquiry (P4210) to “Config Generic Text”. The attachment manager screen will display and the F00165 records exist but no attachments show up.
