Information in this document applies to any platform.
Using World A9.4 version of Sales Order Entry P4211, the extended sales price changes prior to recording the order.
When entering a sales order with quantity (121400) and extended price ($560.30), (no unit price) the extended price changes once you hit the enter key prior to recording the order.
Upon accepting/creating the sales order, the Unit Cost is populated with the .0046 unit cost however the Extended Price is recalculated and now contains 558.44. 121400 * .0046 = 588.44, whereas 121400 * .00461532 = 560.30.
Calculations for this example order:
560.30 / 121400 = .00461532, rounded to 4 decimals = .0046
558.44 / 121400 = .0046
121400 * .0046 = 558.44
121400 * .00461532 = 560.299848 which rounds to 560.30.
The manually entered Extended Cost value should be retained in this situation.
