WS: 31: IM Material Issue Units in the Journal Entry (F0911) Are Rounding in the P31802 - WIP (Doc ID 2487680.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 02, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Shop Floor Management - Version A9.3 cume 1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A9.3.1 - Must be using a Multi-decimal environment
When the Primary unit of measure (UOM) is not the same as the Production UOM when manufacturing an item, the Manufacturing Accounting programs P31802 writes Units to a journal entry. The Units (data dictionary field U) are are rounded causing an incorrect amount to be posted.

Example:
Component item contains Primary UOM of GM (grams) = 6.00
The Production UOM is defined as KG of kilos = .00600
The journal entry is written for the Units = .010, when we should be writing .006 kilos
