DESCRIPTION OF SUGGESTED REGULATORY CHANGE:                                  
Enhance JD Edwards World functionality to comply with EEO-1 Proposed Changes: Employers would file the first new EEO-1 report, including pay data, by May 31, 2019.
The proposed change includes revised data collection for the EEO-1 report:
This revised data collection has two components:
- Component 1 collects the same data that is gathered by the currently approved EEO-1: Specifically data about employees' ethnicity, race, and sex, by job category.
- Component 2 collects data on employees' W-2 earnings and hours worked, which EEO-1 filers already maintain in the ordinary course of business.
Component 2 will collect aggregate W-2 data in 12 pay bands for the 10 EEO-1 job categories. Employers will simply count and report the number of employees in each pay band. Component 2 will collect the total number of hours worked by the employees included in each EEO-1 pay band cell.
For the 2018 reporting cycle, the survey will open on March 18, 2019 with the deadline to submit EEO-1 date set at May 31, 2019.
All companies with 100 or more employees or subsidiaries that are part of a company totaling more than 100 employees or Federal contractors or subcontractors with more that 50 employees must comply.
