WS: INST: Rebuild VO/DD Fails in Double Byte Upgrade to A9.4 (Doc ID 2556988.1)

Symptoms

Rebuild VO/DD has abnormally ended in Upgrade step to A9.4 (from A7.3)


ERROR
-----------------------

Joblog shows the following errors:

RPG0122 P92701 62100 OCUR is outside of range (factor 1)

MCH1202 Message . . . . : Decimal data error.
  Cause . . . . . : The sign or the digit codes of the packed or the zoned
  decimal operand is in error. Valid signs are hex A-F, valid digit range is
  hex 0-9.

RPG9001 Message . . . . : Error RPG0122 caused program P92701 to stop.


RPG Formatted Dump shows:

Program Status . . . . . . . . . . . . :   00122
                OCUR is outside of range (factor 1)



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps during the double byte upgrade:
1. Go to G97R6 and select Rebuild DD/VO (P0021)
2. Enter the required library names.
3. Submit the program.

Note:  This program does not fail in single byte environments.
