WS: 07: Tax History, F06136, is not Updated Correctly for Tax Types H2 and G2 with an Exempt DBA (Doc ID 2696306.1)

Last updated on MARCH 30, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards World U.S. Payroll Processing - Version A9.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a DBA is set up as tax exempt for tax type H and G, tax types H2 and G2 are updated with a gross amount minus the exemption amount.  Tax types H2 and G2 were not included in the tax exempt window of the DBA.  If the tax types H2 and G2 are set up as exempt, history needs to be updated the same as other tax types with full gross and an excludable amount for the exemption.

Steps:
1. Create a DBA that is tax exempt for H and G.
2. Create an employee and process through payroll, updating to history.
3. Review history and verify how tax types H and G are updated and then how tax types H2 and G2 are updated.
