Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an employee has a 9 digit geocode for Oregon, set up on the Employee Master, P0801, both F1 and F2 taxes are calculating together when there should only be F1 OR F2. F1 is created for Lane County (380390000) and F2 created for Tri-Met Counties (380050000, 380510000 and 380670000).  They shouldn’t be calculated together.

Steps
1. Create an Oregon employee in P0801 with an Oregon 9 digit geocode for one of the counties listed above that should calculate F2 tax only.
2. Submit Pre-Payroll, P06210, using Data Selection to select the newly created employee.
3. Review the Payroll Register, R063012, and verify F1 AND F2 Oregon taxes calculated when only F2 tax should calculate.
