Symptoms
According to the IRS 1095-C/1094-C instructions, the employee's age should only be populated if the employee has HRA coverage. Part II Employee Offer of Coverage Age. If the employee was offered an individual coverage HRA, enter the employee’s age on January 1, 2020. Note that for non-calendar year plans or for employees who become eligible during the plan year, this age may not be the Applicable age used to determine Employee Required Contribution. However, currently the software populates the employee’s age regardless if the plan is HRA or Non-HRA.
Steps;
- Create 1095-C for an employee who is not in an HRA plan.
- Print 1095-C and note the age is incorrectly printing.
