Symptoms

After upgrading from A9.2 to A9.4, data selection values are no longer retained when data selection is changed from *VALUE to *ALL back to *VALUE.

Steps:

  1. Go to menu G0121, option 2, Reports by Address (P01301)
  2. Copy XJDE0001, create a version of One Line per Address
  3. In the new Version, enter through to Data Selection
  4. Use function F16 to Display All Data Fields
  5. Select Address Number with Y in Include in Selection Field
  6. Set the Data Selection Value to *VALUE, list the desired Address Book values, and press enter to get back to the versions list
  7. Use 2 to change the version and select Data Selection Value(s) with 1 in the Available Function/Options field
  8. In Data Selection set the Value to *ALL and press enter to get back to the versions list
  9. Use 2 to change the version and select Data Selection Value(s) with 1 in the Available Function/Options field
  10. In Data Selection set the Value to *VALUE and press enter
  11. Note the previously entered values are not retained
