This document is to remind you that JD Edwards World A9.4 Transitions from Premier Support to Extended Support on April 30, 2022. Extended Support (See NOTE box) for JD Edwards World A9.4 ends on April 30, 2025. Sustaining Support will begin May 1, 2025 and will continue indefinitely as provided for in Oracle’s Lifetime Support Policy. Sustaining Support preserves your upgrade rights and rights to access Oracle’s online support tools, pre-existing fixes and assistance from Oracle’s technical support experts.


While you can remain on JD Edwards A9.4, we highly recommend you consider migrating to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 is part of the Applications Unlimited commitment to continuous innovation. Oracle JD Edwards provides a commitment to offer Oracle Premier Support through at least 2032.

Note about Extended Support for A9.4:

In 2013, JD Edwards announced a waive of the fees for Extended Support, including A9.4. Customers who are running A9.4 are still eligible to receive new fixes, year-end updates, upgrade paths and more during the Extended Support 3 years (May 2022-April 2025) at no additional cost. See MOS document 1543437.1 for more information.

What does this mean for 1099s, T4s, W-2s and ACA reporting? All US and Canadian Year End Updates will be available for A9.4 at no additional cost to customers during the Extended Support period.
