EnterpriseOne Testing

Testing Vertex release 4.4.6 with October Monthly update, there is no change in tax calculation when employee has AR Low Income flag added to Tax Overrides.   Per KM document E1:07: How to Set Up Tax Withholding for Arkansas State (Doc ID 2672423.1), should be able to use Tx Cr ult code 16 or 18, both calculate the same.

Steps To Duplicate:

  1. Employee setup:
    Setup Employee for Arkansas
    Tax Area = 04
    Marital Status = M
    Annual Salary = 25000
Add Tax Override with Tax Credit = 16 (retest with 18)

    2. Leave DBAs out to keep interim test simple to see calculation:
    3. Create a test Interim for regular pay for a lump sum $1,000
    4. Click the purple calculator and notice the state tax is 20.92.
    5. Change Tx Cr to 18 and repeat the interim test and notice the same tax
    amount.
