WS: 30: Using Cost Type Calculation Detail Window (P30209) to Reconcile Direct Labor, Setup Labor and Machine Run Costs as No Report is Available
(Doc ID 2942573.1)
Last updated on APRIL 21, 2023
Applies to:
JD Edwards World Product Data Management - Version A9.2 cume 1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
We have found that some of our production costs do not seem correct as far as Labor and Machine costs for these specific Cost Types that can be located in Enter/Change Cost Components (P30026):
B1 - Direct Labor
B2 - Setup Labor
B3 - Machine Run
In order to determine the calculation that was used to create the costs associated with Labor and Machine costs, from Enter/Change Cost Components (2/G3014), inquire on an item and move the cursor to the Net Added column for one of the associated Cost Types from above. Press F10 to display the Cost Type Calculation Detail Window (P30209). It is this information that needs to be downloaded to a spreadsheet since there is no report available containing this information. However, the files and fields that are used by the P30209 are not known at this time.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Inquire on an item that contains a frozen cost using Enter Change Cost Components (P30026)
2. Move cursor down to the Bx Cost Types and press F10 to display the Cost Type Calculation Detail Window (P30209).
3. What files and fields are used to display these calculations?
