WS: 31: Attaching Work Order Parts List First Using Interactive Attachment Creates Blank Generic Text Record in Work Order Routing P3112 (Doc ID 2954189.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 01, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Shop Floor Management - Version A9.3 cume 1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Creating a Work Order header (P48013) and interactively attaching the Work Order Parts List first (P3111) and pressing F6/F10/F10/Add, causes the Work Order Routing (P3112) to highlight the Option field (OPT) on the first operation sequence of the Work Order Routing. Selecting option 5 - Generic Text on the first operation sequence, displays a blank generic text window (V0016).

To remove the highlighted Option field in the Work Order Routing, go to Address Book Revisions (P01051) and inquire on any supplier or customer record. Press F6 to add any generic text. If you go back and re-inquire on the Work Order and press F8 for Work Order Routing, the Option field is no longer highlighted.

However, querying (RUNQRY) the Generic Text (F0016) file displays that a generic text record has been added for the Work Order with the generic text that was added to the Address Book record.

This issue occurs in A9.3.1 and A9.4 and above.
