WS: 06: JDE Tax Calculator (P060701) Returns Different Results Upon Re-inquiry of the Same Tax Area or a Different Tax Area When the User Remains in the P060701 (Doc ID 3054169.1)

Symptoms

Users are not getting the correct tax calculations when they re-inquire/reenter the criteria for the Tax Area (whether the same tax area or a different tax area) without exiting the program completely and re-entering the Tax Area and other criteria.

Steps to duplciate:

  1. Go to G0721, option 10 - JDE Tax Calculator (P060701)
  2. Enter the following criteria:
    • Tax Area (example 05) in both the Work and Residence.
    • Set the Marital Status (example S in all values).
    • Set the Pay Frequency to W - Weekly.
    • Populate the Taxable Federal Gross with an amount (ex: 2000.00).
  3. Press enter and see the tax values.
  4. Exit once (F3) and press Enter again using the same Tax Area. Note you do not get the same values (or no values).
  5. This happens even if you exit (F3) back and re-inquire on a different Tax Area.
