Symptoms

Many programs within JD Edwards World have a maximum number of records that will display based on your search criteria. When this limit has been reached, the following I/O error will be displayed on your screen:

You have read an excessive amount of records trying to satisfy your inquiry.
If you would like to display the data at this point press F5. If you would
like to continue searching press F6. If you choose to display you may receive
incomplete data.

At this point, you may either press F5 to display the records that have been read thus far, or press F6 for the program to continue searching.
