The next number index (line 5) in the Next Number table (F0002) for Accounts Payable (04) that is used to assign the remittance advice number for EFT payments appears to randomly skip a number.
For example, if the next number is set to 12345 and the payment group has five payments, the system assigns remittance advice numbers 12346 through 12350, but the next number index is set to 12352 instead of 12351.
