WS: 07: DBA with Stop and Start Dates in the Middle of a Pay Period (Doc ID 655815.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards World U.S. Payroll Processing - Version A7.3 cume 4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Running a pay period that crosses months.  An employee enrolled in 401K wants to change their contribution percentage.  A stop date was entered on the 31st of the month for the current percentage and a new start date was entered in the following month for the new percentage.  For example, 1% with a stop date of 5/31/18 and 2% with a start date of 6/1/18.  The system is only calculating the first deduction even though they have time cards entered for both months.
