WS: WW: Using Custom or DBAM File, Fields Do Not Have Correct Descriptions (Doc ID 659009.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 11, 2018

Applies to:

JD Edwards World World Writer - Version A7.3 cume 4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A World Writer is created using a custom file or a DBAM file.  The data items (fields) have been added to Data Dictionary, however within WW these fields have the wrong field descriptions.  Also the date fields are not being recognized as julian dates.  If a value of 12/14/07 is entered in Data Selection, it should be converted to julian in the WW SQL statement.  The date field values are in the julian format in the file.  These fields should display with a size of 8, edit code W on Output Field Specifications.
