Goal

This document explains how to open a Service Request (SR) to request a 'Upgrade Planning Session' with Oracle Global Customer Support.  Establish a proactive discussion with a JD Edwards Global Customer Support Engineer by sharing your plans to upgrade your World instance or migrate to EnterpriseOne. This will ensure you have the most up-to-date information to complete a successful upgrade project, and allow support and management to track your Upgrade Milestone. 

NOTE: This SR is only intended to help initially plan for the World Upgrade or Direct Migration.  It is NOT intended to be used to resolve specific issues you may encounter during the World upgrade or direct migration process.  Additional SRs will need to be opened to address those.
