WS: 32: Setup Configurator Subsystem WOSSBS (Doc ID 973779.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 05, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Configurator - Version A8.1 cume 2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

This document explains the setup and use of the Configurator subsystem.

The subsystem functionality is used in Configurator to run the Process Work Orders program (P31410) simultaneously when Configurator orders are entered and processed in Sales Order Entry (P4211). When a configured sales order is entered through P4211, the subsystem signals the Process Work Orders Program (P31410) to update the related work order. At this time, the P31410 will attach the work order parts list and routing, and calculate costs for the configured item.

This information is beneficial to IT staff.
