Not able to connect to Database using e*Xchange Web interface and Repository Manager (Doc ID 1025389.1)

Symptoms

The user is not able to connect to Database using e*Xchange Web interface and Repository Manager.

From the tomcat console, it has the following error while logging to Web Interface:

Excepton occured, rollback ePM session ...

com.stc.ePM.api.ePM_APIException:

{1}(DB0001) ePM_Database.connect()

===> Database connection (jdbc:oracle:thin:@Aixdc28.ux:1565:TMHT2<EX_BDEV/******>) failed


java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection

at oracle.jdbc.dbaccess.DBError.throwSqlException(DBError.java:134)
