Goal

When you build a Java ETD against a stored procedure that has a 'number' or 'date' parameter, the type property of the appropriate field is not 'java.lang.String'. Instead, it is another Java datatype such as double, or 'java.sql.Timestamp'. Does this mean you need to convert any input to this type before calling the 'set' method for this field ?
