(Doc ID 1027829.1)

Symptoms
If the egate installation path is long it is not possible to identify the logical name of a component when running the UNIX ps utility. In this case the output from ps is required to check whether a process is running and how much CPU it is consuming.
For example:
$ ps -ef | grep egadmin
egadmin 24201 19779 6 08:07:58 ? 1:28
/opt/apps/prod/bis/egate/client/bin/stcewgenericmonk.exe -ln
The example above shows that the command column is truncated so the value of the -ln parameter is not displayed.
