Last updated on JUNE 14, 2011

Applies to:

Sun e*Gate - Version: 4.5.3 and later   [Release: 4.5 and later ]
Microsoft Windows (32-bit)
Sun SeeBeyond e*Gate - Version: 4.5.3 and later

**** Checked for relevance on 14-JUN-2011 ****

If you look at the path for starting the stcregd process under Registry Replication, the password is clearly visible.
C:\eGate\Server\bin\stcregd.exe -ss -lnndalal -bdC:\eGate\Server -slroleSLAVE -slhostsupport-test-10 -slpassSTC -pr23001 -pc23002 -mc1024
It should be using the password file and not directly use the password.
