On HP-UX, the eGate registry keeps running out of threads and this is preventing the schema from running (Doc ID 1028018.1)

On HP-UX, the registry reports errors similar to the following in the log file:

09:41:00.776 COM I 1 (cthreadpool.cxx:424): cThreadPool_::Add(): pthread_create
failed. (from OS) Resource temporarily unavailable (0x0000000B)
09:41:00.776 REG E 1 (svcmain.cxx:487): ServiceMain(): pThreads->Add() Failed

This has the effect that e*Ways and other components in the schema are failing to startup properly and shutdown prematurely.

To confirm if this is the problem that you are seeing, start the registry with the additional flag of -d. This will mean a command line similar to:

/home/egate/server/bin/stcregd.exe -ss -lnmyreghost -bd/export/home/egate/server -mc1024 -d

You should then check the log file in /home/egate/server/logs for the error messages above.
