Last updated on SEPTEMBER 13, 2004

Applies to:

Sun SeeBeyond e*Gate - Version: 4.1.2 and later
Microsoft Windows (32-bit)

Symptoms

After using the Generic e*Way Extension Kit and Visual C++ to build a monk extension DLL, the resulting DLL cannot be used from monk.

The following monk code:

(define obj (load-interface "peterw.dll" "init_peterw"))
(display (obj "RcvMsg" "a" "b"))

would fail with:

MONKEXCEPT:0073: eval: <obj> evaluates to "{MONK_UNSPECIFIED}". Not a procedure or interface.
