Symptoms

Resolving the following error in the ICAN server log files:

     "Error authenticating: A remote host did not respond within the timeout period.java.net.ConnectException: A remote host did not respond within the timeout period."

You may see something like the following in the respective logs:

Repository log...
2406 13:58:26 INFO [Thread-13] - Error authenticating: A remote host did not respond within the timeout period.java.net.ConnectException: A remote host did not respond within the timeout period.

Ide.log...
Exception Name: com.stc.repository.persistence.RepositoryServerException
Message: Error authenticating: A remote host did not respond within the timeout period.
Stack Trace: com.stc.repository.persistence.RepositoryServerException: Error authenticating: A remote host did not respond within the timeout period.

bootstrap.log entry...
Could not connect to <repository URL here>: A remote host did not respond within the timeout period.
