Batch eway does not reconnect to FTP server when it is restarted (Doc ID 1028605.1)

Symptoms

If the FTP server goes down and the Batch eWay throws an exception, it does not reconnect at the next instance and the deployment profile needs to be reactivated in order for the connection to work again. You get this error in the log file during the time when the exception is thrown

And the next time you pass data through it, the FTP connection is not invoked at all..
