Goal

The eGate system's speed varies with the amount of log flags that are turned on. When using trace-level logging, for instance, with all the flags selected, it takes an arbitrary process about 30 minutes to complete. However if only the monk flag is turned on, the time-to-completion is substantially less, in the order of seconds. Why is there such a difference? Even though the logging level affects the speed, but the difference seems unreasonably large.
