Symptoms
Configuring WebCenter Mail Service to only include a valid SMTP server for the send mail and not provide a valid IMAP server will not allow send mail to use the WebCenter Mail Service.
Error message "service unavailable message" will occur when clicking on send mail in WebCenter Spaces when the WebCenter Mail Service does not include a valid IMAP server.
Changes
Configured the WebCenter Mail Service and did not include a valid IMAP server and only included a valid SMTP server.
