Purpose

While installing Oracle Identity Manager using SQL Server 2005 database one may come across issue where XA transactions support is not enabled even though one has followed all the instructions given in the Oracle Identity Manager installation guide.

Scope

This article provides steps to how to enable XA transactions support for Oracle Identity Manager environment using SQL Server 2005 database when following instructions given in Oracle Identity Manager installation guide is not able to enable it.
