Last updated on SEPTEMBER 28, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Capture 10g - Version 5.0 to 10.1.3.5.1 [Release Stellent to 10gR3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Periodically, a batch within Capture may have a corrupt Page.dat file that needs to be repaired.  This article will explain how to create a usable Page.dat file for a corrupt batch.

The Page.dat file keeps track of images for each a batch. Each respective batch has its own page.dat file. There may be cases where images are committed or deleted from the batch, but due to a network or file system hiccup the batch's Page.dat file is not updated to have the reference to that image removed.
