Search Created in MOSS 2007 Fails With "Unable to retrieve search results. ResultCount must be greater than 0." (Doc ID 1059946.1)

Symptoms


You have integrated MOSS 2007 with UCM 10.1.3 using the Web Parts component.

When creating & saving a search in MOSS, the query is also saved in UCM.
When executing a search from Content Server (My Saved Queries) that was originally saved/created in MOSS 2007, the following exception is raised:

"Unable to retrieve search results. ResultCount must be greater than 0."

The pne-portal.hda file shows that the resultCount  is set to 0 for Searches that are saved from MOSS.

Editing and setting the ResultCount to 20 will allow the search to function properly.
