User Bookmarks Login Form and Receives an Error Message at Next Login Attempt (Doc ID 1061972.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

COREid Access - Version: 10.1.4.0.1 to 10.1.4.3.0 - Release: 10g
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

A centralized custom login form is for all of our applications being protected by Oracle Access Manager. When trying to access an application via a book mark of this login form, the following  error message is displayed:

The mapping of credentials (Resource=/coreid/access/test.html RequesterIP=xxx.xxx.xx.xxx HostTarget=http://hostname.domain Operation=POST) to a user profile failed. The Access Server may not be able to connect to the user directory, or the authentication scheme SSONoPwd may have an invalid obMappingFilter parameter for its credential_mapping plugin.

Contact your website administrator to remedy this problem.

I know you shouldn't bookmark this page, but that's a pretty hefty training issue. Not to mention it has increased, not decreased our help desk calls.
