WebLogic WebService Framework Logs Verbose Messages When No Verbose Option is Set (Doc ID 1062015.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 08, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3 to 10.3
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On WLS 10.3, when using WLS-WebServices, verbose log messages are logged when no debug is turned on. This occurs with JAX-WS web service with security policy file referencing UserNameToken.

Sample Messages:

Trying to validate identity assertion token http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-username-token-profile-1.0#UsernameToken<629>

and

Validated identity assertion token http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-username-token-profile-1.0#UsernameToken

This would be expected when additional debug is set, such as setting -Dweblogic.wsee.verbose.  However, this is occurring without any debug set.
