Authentication Failed When Accessing Discussions (Doc ID 1063013.1)

Symptoms


After configuring WS-Security for a Simple Topology, the following error is displayed after navigating to
WebCenter Admin --> Services --> Configure WebCenter Services and select Discussions:

failure to authenticate the user weblogic, due to: Unable to connect to discussion server. 


WLS_Services-diagnostic.log shows the following error:
