Oracle RDBMS and DBMS_LDAP for OID May Return Error ORA-24247: network access denied by access control list (ACL) Or ORA-31204: DBMS_LDAP: PL/SQL - Invalid LDAP Session (Doc ID 1063415.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


DBMS_LDAP on Oracle Database (any version) for OID, may return "network access denied by ACL" errors.

Other possible symptoms:

---ORA-31204: DBMS_LDAP: PL/SQL - Invalid LDAP Session.
Error ERR-1082 Error in executing authorization scheme code.


---ERROR at line 1:
ORA-24247: network access denied by access control list (ACL)


Or while upgrading the Database:

Miscellaneous Warnings
WARNING: --> Database contains schemas with objects dependent on DBMS_LDAP package.
.... Refer to the 11g Upgrade Guide for instructions to configure Network ACLs.
.... USER ODS has dependent objects.
