Last updated on OCTOBER 22, 2019

Applies to:

COREid Access - Version 10.1.4.0.1 to 10.1.4.3.0
Linux x86
Sun SPARC Sun OS

Symptoms

You are installing 10.1.4.x WebGate on Solaris/Linux OS. When the installer asks to enter WebGate ID, you enter the same. But even after providing the correct ID, installer just exits without giving any error in the console. You have also verified that you are using correct WebGate installer against the Web Server which is being used.

In Webgate.log file, which can be found under /tmp/ folder, you would see below errors:

(Feb 10, 2010 4:29:42 PM), Setup.product.install, com.installshield.wizard.console.ConsoleWizardUI, err, java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: <WG_INSTALL_DIR>/access/oblix/lib/libstdc++.so.5: ld.so.1: java: fatal: libgcc_s.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory STACK_TRACE: 17java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError:<WG_INSTALL_DIR>/access/oblix/lib/libstdc++.so.5: ld.so.1: java: fatal: libgcc_s.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory
