Symptoms

The following error occurs in a production environment:

SQLException:ResourceException: Connection pool is disabled, cannot allocate resources to apps

Errors that show up in the log file are:

ERROR 2009-12-23 14:46:08,228 dao.ApplJdbcDAO::rollback - java.sql.SQLException: Connection has been administratively destroyed. Reconnect.
ERROR 2009-12-23 14:46:08,229 dao.ApplJdbcDAO::close - Exception while closing connection
java.sql.SQLException: Could not release connection to pool:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.PoolConnection.doClose(PoolConnection.java:195)
at weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.PoolConnection.close(PoolConnection.java:116)
at com.company.dd.base.dao.ApplJdbcDAO.close(ApplJdbcDAO.java:617)
at com.company.dd.businessobject.CheckBO.storeScanItems(CheckBO.java:2805)
