Symptoms

UCM content containing special characters like Arabic text is displayed as junk characters via WebLogic Portal. The content is displayed correctly when viewed via UCM, but when it is rendered via WLP using JSP tags (as shown below), API or contentSelector the content is displayed incorrectly.
