Introduction

This article describes how to replace the Java Runtime Engine (JRE) for the Webcenter Interaction Product Family. The Common Embedded Application Server (EAS) within Webcenter Interaction Portal Version 6.5 and 10.3 uses the Jrockit JRE. Jrockit is used consistently throughout most WCI products on Windows. On Solaris and some Unix variants, the Sun JRE is used. For Solaris, the 64-bit version of the Sun JRE is required.
