Changes
There are many users who only have an X400 type address. These users are in departements with old legacy email systems using X400 style addresses. There is an X.400 mixer gateway to route emails to these legacy systems. The mixer is configured to route email where the local part of the email address is the actual X.400 address.
A typical address (with a space in the given name attribute) would be the following (replace < > with actual values):
"/C=<COUNTRY>/LOC=<LOCATION>/DEP=<DEPARTMENT>/S=<USER>/G=<FIRST SPACE NAME>"@x400mixer.<EMAIL DOMAIN>
The routing to the mixer via SMTP is performed with the domain name (x400mixer.example.com); the mixer then strips out the domain and uses the local part for X.400 routing.
