Working with Group Space Hangs with Components like Menus, Lists, Discussions in IE7 (Doc ID 1069213.1)

Symptoms

Spaces appears to freeze when performing any action with components like using Menus, Lists, etc, e.g. as mentioned below:

1. Click the Group Space drop down (upper right of the screen)
2. Click on a GS topic
3. Goto Documents tab and try to upload a document

Many if not all tasks that require AJAX calls. We can also see the yellow triangle indicating that there is an error on the page for javascript failure.

Changes

Using IE 7 which is upgraded from IE 6
