Symptoms

Existing Master / Supplier node running Oracle Internet Directory 10gR2 (i.e., 10.1.2.1.0, 10.1.2.2.0, or 10.1.2.3.0).

Attempting to install an OID 10.1.4.0.1 one-way LDAP Replica / Consumer fails with:

Starting to execute configuration assistants
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Launched configuration assistant 'OID Replication Configuration Assistant'
Tool type is: Recommended.
The command being spawned is: '/oracle/MyOIDHome/bin/idmconfig -replicatype ldapreadonly -rconnectstr myoidservicename -rhost masteroidhost.mycompany.com -rport 636 -rsudn cn=orcladmin -rsupwd <encrypted password> -mhost masteroidhost.mycompany.com -mport 636 -msudn cn=orcladmin -msupwd <encrypted password>'
