WebLogic Portal Hangs When Using ICEfaces J2EE Ajax Project (Doc ID 1072353.1)

Symptoms

When using ICEfaces J2EE AJAX project version 1.7.2 with WebLogic Portal you could observe server hang issues followed by the following error messages:


When you run into this issue you have to restart the application server.

This issue only occurs in a clustered environment. It can happen on any one of the managed servers but usually not simultaneously.
