Symptoms

Unable to authenticate Enterprise Users (EUS) to Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) using 9i RDBMS / Database (DB) clients; it fails with error:

ORA-28274: No ORACLE password attribute corresponding to user nickname exists.

Authentication of Enterprise Users to OVD using 10g RDBMS clients work ok.

Note:  The same error occurs for 10g jdbc thin clients as well, because jdbc thin only implements SQLNet 9i functionality regarding password verifiers.
