WebCenter Interaction - Users Cannot Login to the Portal and Get "The server has experienced an error" Message (Doc ID 1075316.1)

WebCenter Interaction (WCI) users cannot log in to the portal. The error seen in the browser when the login is fails is:

Error - The server has experienced an error. Try again or contact your portal administrator if you continue experiencing problems.

A Logging Spy taken of the login process shows  one or more of the following error messages:


The problem may start after copying Portal configuration files from another environment without editing them for the new environment or after directly editing the LoginActions.xml file.
