Weblogic Server Administrative Console Freezes When The Server List Link Is Clicked (Doc ID 1077512.1)

When using the admin console, any attempt to retrieve a list of servers in the domain causes the admin console to freeze. As a result, monitoring managed servers through the admin console is not possible. The admin server appears to be healthy and no errors/exceptions appear in the log.

Each managed server has its listen address set as a name and not an IP address.

If thread dumps are taken during the admin console freeze, they show threads that are not progressing, similiar to the following (please note this is taken with jRockit):
