Information on deprecated features is provided to assist administrators with planning an upgrade.

Review Deprecated Features

Review the following table which provides a list of the features deprecated for Universal Content Management 11g.

Component	Reason for Deprecation	Migration Path
Report Parser 10gR3 ( 10.1.3)	Report Parser provided the ability to process reports, such as those from a mainframe or report generator, into customized formatted files according to your design specifications. This feature is now better handled by other products.	Customers who use the Report Parser feature can choose to use a similar solution offered with Oracle's Imaging and Process Management product. Customers can also choose to integrate Oracle's Skywire technology with Oracle Universal Content Management to achieve similar solutions. Please note that Imaging and Process Management, and Skywire technology are not sold as part of Oracle Universal Content Management, but are available separately from Oracle.
Content Publisher 10gR3 ( 10.1.3)	The Content Publisher feature provided the ability to convert standard business content into interactive web sites. The feature was dropped in favor of the Site Studio feature which allows for content conversion and also provides additional site management features.	Customers who have created web sites using Content Publisher are recommended to migrate their sites to the Site Studio solution that is offered as part of Oracle Universal Content Management. Customers can continue to use the 10gR3 version of Content Publisher with UCM 11g, and the Lifetime Support Policy details for 10gR3 will apply.
Collaboration Manager 10gR3 ( 10.1.3)	Collaboration Manager provided features to control access and sharing of content. Not enough installations were using Collaboration Manager to warrant continuation of the feature. Standard management of folder content and access to folder content is still available within UCM 11g.	Customers can use the 11g standard folders access.
FormEditor	This component allowed the user to create HCSF files and forms.	Web Forms Editor is no longer included with UCM in 11g. However, customers can continue to use HCSF to build forms in the Content Server. Other options include leveraging Site Studio as a tool to capture information.

Review the Lifetime Support Policy

Oracle Corporation recommends customers upgrade/migrate features as soon as possible to maintain the highest level of support.
