Goal

Suppose the following table created in your database:
CREATE TABLE TCOLOR
(COD VARCHAR2(10),
COLOR VARCHAR2(100));

How can you save and restore values from an af:inputColor to/from this table, column "COLOR" ?

You have tried to build an ADF Faces application based on this table.
You can correctly save a color value from the af:inputColor to the database:
SQL> select * from tcolor;

COD
----------
COLOR
-----------------------------
Blue
java.awt.Color[r=0,g=0,b=255]

However, you cannot have the af:inputColor showing the correct color in your ADF Faces page.
